We go to many pro-life churches to spread abolitionism, and many times Christians will ask what abolitionists are asking them to do? We usually say keep Jesus as Head and then ask what it should look like to love your preborn neighbor, 3,000 of which are being butchered everyday in this country.

But, we are at a season where we would like to offer some specific guidance. These are some serious suggestions, and we hope all of our readers will consider them very seriously:

1) First, is Jesus Christ your Lord, and are you His ambassador? Jesus paid in blood for the sins of men and women. It was a high price to pay, and God asks us to place our faith in the blood payment for the redemption of our sins. Sometimes we get a little bit too focused on the doing and serving, but we are actually saved not by works, but through faith and by God's grace. After our salvation is sure, we can go on to good works, for we are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

2) 80% of Americans think abortion ought to be legal (61% for any reason in the first trimester). That 80% is for the "exceptions" - the cases where a woman is raped, or in cases of incest, or in the case where there is risk to the life or health of the mother. Are you one of these 80%?

Time and again when Christians are honest with us, they will say "well, I wouldn't want to force a 13 year old girl to carry her rapist's baby." Dear Christian, no child should pay for the crimes of their father. All children are planned by God and made in His image. Rape is wrong because a stronger person is executing their violent will against a weaker person. Abortion is wrong for the same reason.

If you allow for the exceptions in your own mind, it is time to obtain the mind of Christ. He foreknows every human person. He creates and knits all humans together in the womb. There are no unplanned pregnancies with God, and God hates the hands that shed innocent blood and all who support or allow for that blood to be shed. Exceptions have been the foot in the door that has kept abortion decriminalized all these years. The exceptions are in every pro-life bill, and they are truly the ideas of Satan. If you believe in the exceptions; repent now.

3) All human life and each human person begins at conception. There is a living human spirit in the smallest of human bodies. Even Jesus, the Son of God, once inhabited a body of only a few cells, right after conception. Please read our article about the very strong Biblical support for life at conception.

Examine yourself to see if you harbor ageism. Ageism is like racism, except it is discrimination against other humans based on their age, size, location and ability. In other words, do you truly believe that an 8 celled human being newly conceived is your equal, another image bearer of God and your neighbor? If you are discriminating, repent and rid yourself of this discrimination. Your response to the dismemberment of 11 week gestation preborn human beings should be the same response you would have if five year olds were being ripped apart. If it is not, consider the mind blowing Biblical truths on the subject and gain the mind of Christ on this subject.

4) Now that you are in Christ, you have repented of exceptions and you have fully conceptualized the preborn as neighbors worthy of your love, it is time to act out the love. Abortion is the leading cause of death in America, ahead of heart disease and cancer, and it is entirely preventable. The preborn are the most oppressed people group in our own neighborhoods. Jesus said to love our neighbors as ourselves - if you were scheduled to be torn limb from limb this week, what would you want others to do for you?

Jesus taught that when you minister to the needs of your neighbors, especially the least of your neighbors, you are doing that ministry as unto Jesus. If a neighbor needs warmth, the Word says do not just wish them to be warmed, warm them. See Matthew 25 for more on this. In James, we read "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?"

It is needful to the preborn that their bodies not be dismembered. We need to actually deliver them from physical death at the hands of those that would kill them. Abortion is child sacrifice, wherein parents are offering their children unto Baal or Molech. The idol is self, or fear, or money, or some other thing, but in the old testament, the penalty for child sacrifice was death - Leviticus 20:2 "Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. 3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. 4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not: 5 then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people."

Note what God's attitude was toward those who did nothing about others giving their seed to Molech. God is still angry with the wicked, and He still wants the just to establish justice for the oppressed. God uses human agents to accomplish His purposes on Earth. See also Psalm 106:37 "Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, 38 and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood." Or Jeremiah 7:31 "And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. 32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place. 33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away."

It is time Christians set as a practical goal to cast down the high places and cut down the altars to Baal and Molech. Doing so will be practical love for our preborn neighbor, and it is not a separate act from the gospel. Rather, our good works of loving our preborn neighbor are a manifestation of light coming into the world and driving away the darkness. It is key to remember that we have all kinds of good and moral criminal law even though the majority of our society are not born again. That criminal law constrains the acts of the wicked every day. There is no reason why if rape is a criminal act, abortion should not also be criminalized, even without everyone getting saved. And if abortion were criminalized, then a practical result will be far less abortion. If you don't believe that, check out these results from Chile.

Practical Actions to do TODAY

Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPC's) are a women's ministry that reach some women who may be abortion bound, but in a recent Lifeway research study commissioned by Care Net, of 1,000 women who got their first abortion, only 9% considered a CPC as an option for getting advice. CPC's have co-existed with decriminalized abortion since 1967. They will not end abortion in America, though they might head off a few abortions. We should not use CPC's as the only or even primary Christian response to abortion. Men need to get active against this evil, and the season and time is ripe to do so. Here are some practical ideas you should do now MEN (and women):

- First, study the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates. There is a book you can buy called The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates. It is all about righteous resistance to tyranny, found in the Bible and completely supported and seen throughout scripture. Get solid on this doctrine. Read John Knox's Appellation to the Scottish Nobles of 1558, and check out the website DefyTyrants.com

The idea behind the doctrine of the lesser magistrates is that it is the duty of civil magistrates to rightly define good and evil in order to commend those who do well and wield a sword against evildoers. When higher governmental authorities call good evil and evil good, it is the duty of lower governmental authorities, lesser magistrates, to interpose themselves on behalf of their constituents and defy the higher governmental authority on the subject on which they are wrong. The basic premise is that all magistrates are ordained by God, and there is only one Lawgiver (James 4:12), and the rule of man must conform to God's moral order.

So, when the Supreme Court rules that it is okay to murder preborn children, as they did in Roe v. Wade, it is not a matter of personal religious exemption but is a rather a duty that the lesser magistrates in Idaho interpose themselves and defy the rule of the higher magistrate, in the case of abortion, actually protecting the very lives of their own constituents against a wicked decree that deprives them of life.

The Supreme Court does not have a police force. Their opinions are merely that and lack the force of law when they defy the moral law of God. It is the duty of Idaho to resist the wicked decrees of the Supreme Court and to uphold those that are just. But by rolling over and accepting the wicked decrees as the law of the land, Idaho is complicit in unrighteousness and is not fulfilling their ordination of God. They will not do so until the people of Idaho demand that they do and back them up when they do it.

The doctrine of the lesser magistrates is on display in our neighboring state of Washington, albeit the circumstances are not as clearcut morally as that of homosexual "marriage" or abortion. But, in this case, you can see that it is not only possible but is being done that a state is defying the federal beast in the legalization of marijuana. In fact, multiple states are. Presently, under federal law, all use of cannabis is classified as illegal and could be criminally prosecuted. The US Supreme Court has ruled in United States vs. Oakland Cannabis Buyers' Cooperative and Gonzales vs. Raich that the federal government has the right to criminalize both the recreational and medical use of cannabis. YET, multiple states have not allowed that whatever the Supreme Court rules is "the law of the land". Rather, even two states, Colorado and Washington, passed statutes in 2012 that allow for the recreational use of marijuana, a complete defiance of the US Supreme Court. If states can do that for cannabis, then Idaho can certainly do the same for abortion and homosexual marriage.

The only limitation is that there is no demand in Idaho yet to resist the federal tyranny that is Roe v. Wade. And, in fact, sadly the majority of the population wants abortion. BUT, in order for the doctrine of the lesser magistrates to work, we don't need a majority, we only need an active minority and the power of the Holy Spirit. Let's face it, if the homosexuals can drive their agenda with a tiny minority, why are they putting the Christians to shame, who, though also a tiny minority, have access to the POWER OF THE LIVING GOD?!

Contact our lesser magistrates

The Idaho legislature convenes soon. Here is what we suggest you do. Contact our North Idaho representatives in the Idaho house, Heather Scott and Sage Dixon. Also contact Vito Barbieri from Coeur d'Alene and Shawn Keough and Steve Vick of the state senate. Contact information follows. Tell them you want Idaho to defy the federal government first in relation to abortion, that Idaho should criminalize all human abortion with no exceptions, in defiance of Roe v. Wade. Also tell them that we should defy the United States Supreme Court in relation to this past summer's homosexual "marriage" case of Obergefell v. Hodges. Tennessee is already on the road to doing this. Their legislature reconvenes in January, and bills have been introduced in both the house and the senate defying the force of law in the Obergefell opinion. The Liberty Counsel has affirmed their support for these bills. idaho should follow the example of Tennessee and pass similar legislation but also in regards first to child sacrifice. Please read the links to the Liberty Counsel opinion and to the bills in Tennessee and recommend them as reading to our legislators.

In order to be successful as interposing lesser magistrates, the magistrates need to know they will not be standing alone. We must be willing to back them up the entire distance. Frankly, in relation to abortion, we should pledge our lives and fortunes - the wickedness is that significant.

Did you know there is abortion right here in Bonner County? Please read our articles about the abortion clinics right here in Sandpoint and Ponderay, Idaho. First is our article on Plan B. Second is our article on the stores that sell it. Call the Bonner County elected Commissioners and tell them to pass an ordinance banning abortion via abortifacient sales in Bonner County. Sheriff Darryl Wheeler, an elected official, and the prosecutor Louis Marshall, who is also elected are given broad latitude in the state constitution and are ordained of God to enforce these righteous ordinances. This defiance of federal unjust opinions would be a living example of the doctrine of the lesser magistrates in action.

We urge you to act. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing" - Edmund Burke.
